On August 28, the Karawang 100 MW photovoltaic project, the largest land photovoltaic project in Indonesia with installed capacity, contracted by China
Power Construction EPC, was officially completed.
The Karawang Photovoltaic Project is located in Bukit Indah City, West Java Province, Indonesia, covering a total area of approximately 80 hectares and with
a planned DC installed capacity of 100.78 MW. It is the land photovoltaic project with the largest installed capacity in Indonesia.
Hubei Engineering Company, a subsidiary of Power China, is responsible for all the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of the photovoltaic
area of the project. 90% of the equipment in the project comes from China, and it has achieved the integration of IEC standards and Chinese technical standards.
It is a successful example of Chinese enterprises"going global".
After the project is put into operation, it will provide more than 150 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity every year, meeting the annual electricity demand
of approximately 112,000 households. It can effectively reduce local electricity costs, help Indonesia achieve energy transformation and sustainable development,
and significantly improve social and people's livelihood.
