"PV+N"! 110MW project phase I connected to the grid

The high temperature heat wave "standby for a long time", the power load of Sichuan power grid has hit a record high many times.

In the critical period of peak power supply, the first phase of the Charlie 1.1 million kilowatt "photovoltaic + N" project in Aba County, Aba Prefecture, invested and constructed by Sichuan Energy Investment Co., Ltd. of Three Gorges Group, achieved full capacity grid-connected power generation, providing new power supply for the current power supply.

The total installed capacity of the Charlie 1.1 million kilowatt "photovoltaic + N" project is 1.1 million kilowatts, with a total investment of about 4.5 billion yuan. It is built in two phases, of which the first phase has an installed capacity of 250,000 kilowatts.

This project is the first million-kilowatt photovoltaic power generation project invested and constructed by the Three Gorges Group in Sichuan Province, and it is also the largest photovoltaic project of the Three Gorges Group that has been connected to the grid for power generation at an altitude of more than 3,500 meters.

Aba County, where the project is located, is located at the junction of Sichuan, Gansu and Qinghai provinces. It is the water source conservation area of ​​the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and the Yellow River and the location of the Ruoergai National Wetland Park. After the first phase of the project is put into operation, it is expected to generate about 456 million kWh of electricity annually, save about 137,300 tons of standard coal, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 377,100 tons.

The project construction also actively promotes "pastoral and photovoltaic complementarity", which is of great significance to achieving win-win ecological and economic benefits and promoting high-quality development of local social economy. It will also provide important reference for the development and construction of high-altitude onshore photovoltaic power generation projects.
